DRIVING IN SNOW

Unless your trip is really necessary, stay home.
If you have an SUV, first, turn your 4 wheel drive ON. Turn headlights ON. Turn cell phone/text OFF.
Look as far as you can, this will allow you to ANTICIPATE most situations. As much as possible, DO NOT USE BRAKES. Do everything smoothly, whether accelerating or decelerating. Slow down before any turn by gently easing off the gas pedal and get into the turn on a neutral throttle.
Stay in the right most lane, there will always be someone faster, with a better car and better tires than you. If they are faster, there usually is a reason. If there is no reason, just wave at them as you pass them and they are in the ditch.
Most of all, do not do anything stupid. Thank you.
